50 participants attended the Penn State Institutional research Group’s November 14 session on Using National Survey of Student Engagement to Meet Multiple Assessment Goals. About half came in person to 508 Rider Building and half via Adobe Connect. The panelists were Andrea Dowhower, Assistant Vice President, Student Affairs; Carl Larsen, Assistant Dean for Policy and Planning, Penn State Altoona; Angela Linse, Executive Director, Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence; and Betty Harper standing in for Tanya Furman, Professor of Geosciences; Assistant Vice President and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education.
The panelists shared information about several projects using NSSE to inform discussions about student engagment, student learning, program planning, and more.
