Recently I was looking for a quick resource for the number of adult learners at Penn State. In response to an inquiry I ent to the IR Interest Group listserv, I received lots of helpful responses to my inquiry, so I thought I’d consolidate them here for your reference. If you have sources to add, please do so using comments!
Sources of adult learner data:
- Anyone that has University Access to itwo should be able to get this pretty quickly on one of the demographic dashboard views. SE-011 should get you what you’re looking for.
- For the campuses, you can look at the campus profile reports under the OPIA folder on EIS (if you have access). The reports have the total number of adult learners for the Commonwealth Campuses. For Fall ’13, there are 7,503 adult learners (23.8%, total – 31,578).
- Fact Book Plus has data under student life for each campus.
