156 participants attended the Penn State Institutional Research Group debut – about half in person in 508 Rider Building, and half from multiple locations via Adobe Connect Pro. The panelists were Mike Dooris (Office of Planning & Institutional Assessment), Frank Miller (Penn State York), Marta Miguel (Information Technology Services) and Betty Harper (Student Affairs Research and Assessment). They introduced the goal of an interest group – which is to create a community of practice, to help those who produce, analyze, and use data for planning and decision-making to do so more effectively.
